Brazilian security enthusiast Victor Hugo has confronted the new Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6 beta with some nasty Malwares and bad links. As usual he recorded the testing session and published it on Youtube afterwards. His comments are in Portuguese, but English subtitles are available aswell by activating the “CC” option in the Youtube video control bar. You can watch the video right here:
The final conclusion of Victor: “It achieved an excellent result in this test, because none of the files or malicious links succeeded in breaking the wall of protection of Emsisoft Anti-Malware.“
The Internet portal freebiest.com has published an interesting review of Emsisoft’s powerful Online Armor Firewall. They recommend using it in addition to an Anti-Malware program to prevent flagged information from entering ones network and harming the computer.
The result of the review:
Pros: Comprehensive and advanced firewall protection with a lot of additional security features but easy to use for even if you aren’t PC expert. Banking Online Mode is unique and very useful. It’s even more than a firewall program in comparison with others.
Thanks to the benefits of the “web 2.0″, enthusiastic users are able to publish tests on platforms like Youtube. So did w4kelvin, known from his activities in some security forums. He tested the public beta version of Emsisoft Anti-Malware 6 and the brand new Online Armor 5.1 against some chosen threats. Watch the video here:
Both programs were able to detect all threats which is a very good result that proves the great protection capabilities of Online Armor and Emsisoft Anti-Malware.
